Stay alert.  Watch what you are doing, and use common sense when oper-
ating this instrument.  Do not use the Telescope while tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication.
  A  moment of inattention while
operating this product may result in serious personal injury.

Do not overreach.  Keep proper footing and balance at all times.  Proper
footing and balance enables better control of the Telescope in unexpected
situations.

PERSONAL SAFETY

1.

Maintain labels and nameplates on this product.  These carry important infor-
mation.  If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement.

2.

Never look directly at the sun with the naked eye or with the Telescope.
Permanent and irreversible eye damage may result.

3.

Never use the Telescope to project an image of the sun onto any surface.
Internal heat build-up can damage the Telescope and/or any accessories that
may be attached to it and possibly cause a fire.

4.

When using the Telescope, always cover the Finder Scope with the correct
Solar Filter.  
Although small in aperture, this instrument has enough light gather-
ing power to cause permanent and irreversible eye damage.

PRODUCT USE AND CARE

1.

Store the Telescope out of reach of children and other untrained persons.
This instrument can be dangerous in the hands of untrained users.

2.

Do not force the Telescope.  Use the correct Telescope for your applica-
tion. 
 The correct Telescope will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it
is designed.

3.

Maintain this product with care.  A properly maintained Telescope is less likely
to malfunction and is easier to control.  Do not use a damaged Telescope.  Tag
a damaged Telescope “Do not use” until repaired.

4.

Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and
any other condition that may affect the Telescope’s operation.  If damaged,
have the instrument serviced before using.
  Many accidents are caused by
poorly maintained equipment.

5.
