5. INSTRUMENTS AND CONTROLS

1) Gearshift lever. 7) Right pivot lever.
2) PTO lever. 8) Handle-bar side release lever.
3) Clutch lever. 9) Vertical adjustment lever.
4) Motorstop safety device lever. 10) Accelerator lever.
5) Diff lock lever. 11) Control lever to quickly couple implements to the
PTO.
6) Left pivot lever. 12) Reversing lever (only on reversing walking tractors).
Function of the controls
1) Gearshift lever (Fig. 1)
This operates the five speed gearbox.
Proceed as indicated by the layout on the handle-bar panel.
a)Allow the engine to idle by lifting the accelerator (10), (Fig. 1) to its highest position.
b)Disengage the clutch by fully pulling the lever (3),(Fig. 1).
c)Move the gearshift lever to the desired position.
d)Gradually let out the clutch lever (3) while lowering the accelerator (10) to accelerate the engine.
