VCR functions

Clock/counter display

Press the 

Clock/counter

 button,

the counter counts in real time from

the point the tape is at when you

load the video cassette.  The counter

does not count unrecorded parts of

the tape.  Pressing the 

Clock/

counter

 button again, reverts the

LCD to the current time.

If you rewind beyond the zero

position, the counter will show a

negative value.

Press the 

Display

 button once to

show, initially, the Time and date and

the current status at the bottom of

the screen.  After a few seconds the

status will disappear.

Press the 

Display

 button twice to

show, initially, the counter and the

current status at the bottom of the

screen.  After a few seconds the

status will disappear.

Press the 

Display

 button three

times to turn the display off.

Remaining time and Video
cassette length

This tells you how much time remains on a

video  cassette so that you will know, for

example,  if there is sufficient space for a

recording.

Press the 

Setup/enter

 button to

enter the Setup menu.

Select Tape control and press the

Return/OK

 button.

Select Tape Remain and press the

Return/OK

 button.

Select the length of video  cassette

currently loaded and press the

Return/OK

 button.

The remaining tape will be displayed at the

bottom of the screen.

Counter zero position

Press the 

Setup/enter

 button to

enter the Setup menu.

Select Tape control and press the

Return/OK

 button.
