General Care and Safety Guide
Before using the heater, the feet (supplied separately in the carton), must be fitted
to the unit. The screw pack to attach the feet to your heater will be taped to either
one of the feet for your heater, or taped to the plug.
The feet need to be attached to the base of the heater using the 4 self-tapping screws
provided, taking care to ensure that they are located correctly in the bottom ends of
the heater side mouldings.
Assembling Your Convector Heater
WARNING:
Heater must not be used without the feet fitted.
This appliance has been supplied with
‘
1 way
screws’
for permanent installation of the
feet. This is a safety requirement for the New Zealand and Australian market.
ASSEMBLY
Each foot supplied with this heater (supplied separately in the carton) requires only 2 screws to
attach them securely to the heater. Holes are pre-drilled in the base of the heater.
The screw pack to attach the feet to your heater will be taped to either one of the feet for your
heater, or taped to the plug head.
TIP: Slightly angle the screws into the holes when you insert them. As you tighten them, they will
straighten and secure the feet.
The foot comes with 4 pre-drilled holes. It does not matter which way round you mount them.
The pictures above show the location of pre-drilled holes on the heater base.
