CONTROL PANEL (continued) 

 
The heater must be operated by the controls located on the heater. 
 
The heater must be placed on a flat floor or the tip switch will shut it off automatically. 
 
1. Timer Button 

– The timer function allows you to set the length of operation from 1-8 hours. On any heat 

or fan setting press this button to set a desired time for the unit to operate before turning off automatically 
(i.e. if you would like the heater to run for 4 hours and then turn off press the Timer Button until a 4 is 
displayed on the control panel and the unit will run for 4 hours then turn off) 

 
2. Oscillate Button 

– This button turns the heater oscillation function on and off. 

 
3. On/Off Button 

– This button turns the heater on and off. 

 
4. Heat/Fan Setting Button 

– This button sets the desired heat/fan setting. Press the button once for low 

heat, twice for high heat, three times for auto mode (the heater will operate at low or high heat in order to 
reach a set temperature on the display). Please note that when the heater is turned on it will 
automatically be on the fan only mode until changed. 

 
5-6. Decrease and Increase Temp Buttons (UP and DOWN) 

– These two buttons sets the temperature 

desired when the unit is functioning on the temperature controlled auto mode (see Heat Mode button). To 
increase the desired set temperature press the “+” button and to decrease the desired set temperature press 
the “-” button. 
 
How the set temperature is maintained: 
-

If the room temperature is higher than the set temperature, the heater switches itself off. 

-

If the room temperature is lower than the set temperature, the heater automatically switches itself back 
on again  

 
 
WARNING

DO NOT PLACE THE  HEATER UNDER A POWER SOCKET  

NEVER LOCATE THE HEATER IN A BATHROOM OR OTHER WET/DAMP LOCATIONS 

MAINTENANCE 

WARNING: ALWAYS UNPLUG THE CORD BEFORE MOVING OR SERVICING. 
  
DO NOT IMMERSE HEATER IN WATER. 
  
CLEANING: Clean the heater at least once a month, more often if dirty or dusty.  
Clean the heater grill with the vacuum brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner. This will remove lint and 
dirt from the inside of the heater. 
Do not attempt to take apart the heater. 
Do not remove grill guard or allow heater to be operated without grill guard in place. 
Clean the body of the heater with a soft cloth. (NEVER USE ALCOHOL OR SOLVENTS.) 
  
STORAGE: Store the heater with these instructions in the original carton in a cool, dry place.
