You can record the Date and Time of a regular or Timer
Recording from the TV at the beginning of your VHS record-
ing. Combined with the VHS Index Search System, the Date
and Time Stamp allows you to easily find a specific program
on a tape with many programs recorded on it.
To activate the Date and Time Stamp:
1. Press
MENU
until the AMERICHROME COPY MENU
appears. If the VHS deck is your current TV View, you
will have to press
MENU
more than once.
2. Press
SELECT
at the SET DISPLAY OPTIONS item to enter
the DISPLAY MENU.
3. Press
SELECT
(more than once if necessary) at the TIME
STAMP item to choose one of three choices:
OFF:
No Date and Time Stamp will be recorded.
TIMER: Date and Time Stamp will be recorded only on
Timer Recordings.
ALL:
Date and Time Stamp will be recorded at the
beginning of every recorded segment.
4. Press
QUIT
to exit the menu system.
The Date, Time, and Source (channel) will be recorded at the
beginning of the segment, for about five seconds. If the
segment is from a Timer Recording, the duration of the
recording will also appear.
