4. Installation of child safety seat into vehicle
WARNING:
Never leave a child in the child safety seat unattended in the vehicle.
WARNING
: To protect everyone in the car when driving:
In the event of an accident or emergency braking persons without fastened seat belts or unsecured
items may cause injury to other passengers in the vehicle. This is why you should please check that:
•
Seat backrests are locked in their standard driving position (i.e. for example folding central
section of the back seat is locked in).
•
All heavy objects or items with sharp edges in the vehicle (e.g. shelves, etc.) are secured.
•
All passengers in the vehicle have fastened seatbelts in each individual seat
•
Child safety seat is always secured, if in the vehicle, even if no child is transported.
To protect the vehicle:
Some seat covers, made from sensitive materials (e.g. velvet, leather, etc.), can
experience formation of creases from the child safety seat. This can be prevented by placing a
blanket or a towel
under the child safety seat.
