Cleaning and Maintenance (continued)
Descaling (continued):
From Settings, select
Descale Brewer.
Step 1 – Close water
supply valve (Auto-Fill
models only). Empty
reservoir. Empty brew
chamber.
Step 2 – Add 72 oz. of
distilled white vinegar to
reservoir.
Step 3 – Place 14 oz. or
larger container and press
brew button.
When directed, empty
container, replace and
press brew button to
continue. (6 total)
Step 4 – Wash drip tray
and reservoir. Rinse
thoroughly. Wait 3 hours.
Step 5 – Remove back
panel, uncap and drain
tank. Recap and replace
back panel.
Step 6 – Open water
supply valve (Auto-Fill
only). Fill reservoir with
fresh water.
Step 7 – Place 14 oz. or larger container
and press brew button. When directed,
empty container, replace and press brew
button to continue. (6 total)
Flush with 12 oz. brews if
normal taste and smell
have not returned.
