A
Flexible, Locking Tailgate
The tailgate features a flexible design
that allows it to be positioned fully up,
fully down, partially lowered, or to be
removed entirely.
Partially lower the tailgate
• From its fully down position, raise the
tailgate high enough to slide the
retaining cable bracket forward and off
the bottom bolt.
• While still holding the tailgate, raise it
slightly in order to place the cable
bracket’s
rearward
hole onto the
top
bolt.
• Slowly lower the tailgate to allow the
cable bracket to slide rearward into
position.
Remove the tailgate
• Raise the
tailgate
slightly from
its fully down
position and
remove both
retaining
cables. Do
this by pulling upward on the clip and
turning the bracket so that the end
faces the front.
• Push forward so that the larger part
of the hole is over the bolt, and pull
the end over the bolt.
