4) Using 15mm flexible tubing connect the overflow to a suitable
drainage location outside.
Make sure that it is not kinked or restricted in any way.
The overflow and waste pipe should not be joined together.
The overflow pipe must run downhill and be no higher than the
height of the overflow elbow on the softener cabinet.
5) Connect the mains water pipes to the water inlet and outlet
connections on the bypass assembly.
It is important that you check the water directional flow arrow on
your unit and connect accordingly.
Initially add 5 or 6 litres of water into the tank on top of the salt.
Add some tablet water softener salt to the brine tank.
Salt levels need to be maintained at no lower than approx.
100mm above the bottom of the tank and no higher than 50mm
from the top of the tank.
