The Globus Electrostimulator is furnished with a set of rechargeable nickel-metal hydrate bat-
teries , which have high yield without "memory effect". Recharge the batteries when the bat-
tery light on the display ( ) indicates ¼.
To charge the batteries, turn off the electrostimulator and detach the electrodes. Attach the
supplied battery charger by inserting the plug in the appropriate inlet on the electrostimulator
(figure). The LED on the charger lights when the connection is correctly made. The first time
the batteries are charged, be sure not to interrupt the process until complete, about 10 hours.
If the electrostimulator is connected for longer periods (but not greater than 72 h), the batte-
ries will not be damaged.
Do not use battery chargers other than the one supplied. To replace the electrostimulator's
batteries, contact an authorized service center.
Attention:
-
While the batteries are being charged, the electrostimulator must not be connected to the
electrodes.
- If the battery charger is connected to the electrostimulator when the instrument is on, it will
turn off automatically.
- If the battery charger, the electrical cord or the connector show signs of wear or damage,
replace immediately.
