Cartridges Replacement Schedule:
Regular cartridges replacement is necessary for your device to work properly.
The local conditions and feed water quality determine the time of replacement.
We recommend not to exceed the following cartridge replacement periods:
Pre-Filter 5 microns, GW-PS5-10:
- recommended replacement: max every 6 months
Pre-Filter 1 micron, GW-PS1-10:
- recommended replacement: max every 6 months
Carbon Pre-Filter, GW-BL-10:
- recommended replacement: max every 6 months
RO Membrane & Flow Restrictor:
- recommended replacement: max every 36 months (depending on the water quality)
Carbon Post-Filter, GW-CCA-L2:
- recommended replacement: max every 6 months
Mineralizing Cartridge, GW-MIN-L2:
- recommended replacement: max every 12 months
How to Replace Cartridges:
1. Disconnect the power supply.
2. Turn off the raw water supply.
3. Turn off the tank valve.
4. Turn the filter tap on for a moment to pour out the water remained in the hoses.
5. Disconnect the hoses from the unit (note: there is water in the hoses).
6. Unscrew the pre-filter housings with the wrench and replace worn out cartridges.
7. Disassemble the in-line carbon cartridge and mineralizer and unscrew the quick couplings.
8. Seal the quick couplings threads with Teflon tape and install them into the new cartridges.
9. Connect the water supply and other hoses to the unit.
10. Turn on the water supply valve and the tank valve.
11. Turn on the power supply.
12. Turn on the filter tap to rinse the in-line cartridges.
13. Turn off the filter tap and check connections for leaks.
How to Replace the Membrane:
1. Disconnect the power supply.
2. Turn off the raw water supply.
3. Turn off the tank valve.
4. Turn the filter tap on for a moment to pour out the water remained in the hoses.
5. Disconnect the hoses from the unit (note: there is water in the hoses).
6. Unscrew the membrane housing and replace the worn out element with a new one.
7. Screw on the membrane housing and replace the flow restrictor with a new one.
8. Connect the water supply and other hoses to the unit.
9. Turn on the water supply valve and the tank valve.
10. Turn on the power supply.
11. Turn on the filter tap for 30 minutes to flush the new membrane.
12. Turn off the filter tap and check connections for leaks.
