4.3 ORP Calibration

Calibrate for ORP measurement using only this “1 POINT
SAMPLE” method.
NOTE:
A two-point calibration method is purposely ex-
cluded since it could provide bad results. Immersing
the sensor into one reference solution and then into
the other could contaminate electrochemical com-
ponents of the sensor.
This method requires you to enter the known mV value of a
reference solution or sample. When using a sample, deter-
mine its mV value by laboratory analysis or a comparison
reading.
1.
Immerse the sensor in the sample (or reference solution).

to display a “MAIN MENU” screen.
If the
screen is not showing, use

HOLD OUTPUTS:
Holds their present values.

XFER OUTPUTS:
Transfers to preset values.

ACTIVE OUTPUTS:
Responds to measured values.
With the desired screen displayed, press
ENTER key
to enter this selection.

With the sensor in the sample (or reference solution)
and the
screen displayed, press
ENTER key
to confirm. This active
screen appears showing the measurement reading.

Wait for the reading to stabilize. Then press
ENTER
