We recommend replacing the filter along with every fifth change of the dust bag, or if you are using the
permanent filter box, every three months.
Open the dust compartment lid.
Remove the old exhaust filter and replace it with a new one.
Close the dust compartment lid.
Cleaning and Care
ATTENTION: Each time before cleaning the vacuum cleaner, switch it off and pull the power plug.
The vacuum cleaner – and above all the dust compartment – and all the accessories can be cleaned with
a soft cloth or commercial plastic cleaner. Let it dry afterwards.
Regularly remove hair and fluff from the nozzles.
Cleaning the permanent filter box
Remove and empty the permanent filter box as described.
Turn the plaited filter to the left and out of the holder.
(B25)
Pull the filter screen out of the track.
(B26)
Clean the plaited filter and the filter screen with the brush or wash them both out under lukewarm
running water. Let both of them dry completely before replacing them.
Push the filter screen back into the track.
Replace the plaited filter and turn it firmly to the right.
Put the lid back on the container and then put the permanent filter box back into the guide tracks in the
vacuum cleaner.
Close the dust compartment lid until it snaps into place with an audible click.
Other Important Information
Dust bags are disposable articles. They must not be used multiple times because plugged pores
reduce the suction power.
To check:
· Attach the floor nozzle. All other nozzles affect the functioning of the change dust bag display.
· Switch on the vacuum cleaner and set the suction power selector (if available) to full suction power.
· Lift the floor nozzle off the floor by a small amount.
· If the dust bag full display is “red”, then you must change the dust bag.
What you should know about how the change dust bag display works.
The display is designed to work with mixed dust, as is mainly found in the home. This includes hair,
carpet fluff, threads, sand, and so on.
However, if you vacuum up a great deal of fine dust, for example drilling dust, sand, plaster, or flour,
