Micro Synthetic Filter (depending on the configuration)
Pull the filter bridge with the micro synthetic filter up and out.
Pull the full micro synthetic filter out of the side of the filter bridge (B20).
Seal the opening of the filter with the folding tab (B21).
Filter Change
ATTENTION: Before emptying the permanent filter box or alternatively before changing the filter
and dust bag, switch off the vacuum cleaner and pull the plug.
ATTENTION: Never vacuum without the motor protection filter in place!
Changing the motor protection filter (B22)
We recommend replacing the filter along with every fifth change of the dust bag, or if you are using the
permanent filter box, every three months.
First, remove the dust bag/permanent filter box as described earlier.
Pull the handle on the top of the screen to the front.
Replace the old motor protection filter with a new one.
Fold the screen down once again until it snaps into place.
Afterwards, replace the dust bag/permanent filter box as described earlier.
Active Carbon Filter Cartridge (B23 A)
For appliances with an active carbon filter cartridge, this is a special filter that can absorb odours that
come from the vacuum cleaner bag.
Pull the active carbon filter cartridge up and out and replace it with a new one.
Recommendation: Replace it every 6 months of if odours are clearly noticeable, or if the paper filter was
damaged, for example.
Allergy Filter Cartridge (B23 B)
For appliances with the 3-fold filter cartridge, this is a highly specialised filter combination that
integrates the following filters:
an airborne particulate filter with very high filtering capacity; an S-class filter according to DIN 24184
that is especially suited for persons with allergies and
which filters micro organisms with a diameter of 0.0003 mm up to 99.997%;
an active carbon filter, which is a special filter that absorbs odours.
Antibacterial fleece: removes bacteria, spider-mites, etc.
Pull the 3-fold filter cartridge up and out and replace it with a new one.
Attention: The allergy filter cartridge can only be used in combination with the dust bags.
Recommendation: The 3-fold filter cartridge should be replaced every 6 months, otherwise the filtering
capacity and air permeability will deteriorate.
