Inserting the handle
The Origine surface handle is supplied inside a purposely made pack, which inside the surface packaging.
After installing the surface on the top (see page 8) insert the handle as follows:
- Insert handle “A” by holding the level part “B” on the flat side of the tap “C”.
Lighting the burner
Burner with electrical lighting
In order to light the burner, press and rotate the handle to maximum flow and keep it pressed until the gas is lit, then adjust the flame
by rotating the handle to the desired intensity.
Note:
When the handle is at maximum flow position and abnormal conditions of gas flow render lighting the burner difficult, it is recommended
to repeat the operation before placing a pot on the pan support and with the handle at minimum flow position.
- Burner with safety valve
This model is supplied with a safety valve that automatically stops the flow of gas whenever the burner switches off for any reason
what so ever.
To restore functioning, put the handle back in position and repeat the lighting operations given in the previous paragraph.

Using the burner
• Turn the gas tap handle to maximum flow rate
, then press and keep pressed for approx. 4-5 seconds. Let go of the handle and
adjust the flame size by turning the handle until reaching desired intensity.

Warning:
The lighting device can not be activated for more than 15 minutes.
If after this amount of time the burner has not lit or if it goes out by accident, wait for at least 1 minute before repeating the
operation.
Pan support use
The cooking surface pan supports (fig 5) have been designed to make the use of the product safe and easy.
We recommend to check the exact position and stability, before use.
