CROWN
Introduction
The crown is a component allowing the adjustment of different watch
functions, such as setting the time, manual winding and on certain
models, setting the day or the date.
Simple crown
Setting
A.
Pull out the crown to go on to different settings.
B. To assure its water-resistance, it is important that the crown is
pushed back into position 0) once you have finished using it. To do
this, press the crown against the case as illustrated opposite.
Screw-down crown
The screw-down crown ensures perfect water-resistance to the depth for
which the model was designed.
Setting
A.
Unscrew the crown to go on to different settings. To do this, turn the
crown counter-clockwise.
B.
To assure its water-resistance, it is important that the crown is
pushed back into position 0) once you have finished using it. To do
this, screw the crown in clockwise while pressing it against the case,
as illustrated opposite.
