(0 - 4 YEARS APPROXIMATELY)
OPENING THE PLAyPEN
1.
Remove the playpen from the bag by
positioning it in the vertical position on
the feet (Fig. 1).
2.
Remove the bottom wrapped around the
playpen, unfastening the Velcro straps
(Fig. 1 and 2).
3.
Grasp the two sides and pull firmly up-
wards simultaneously until it clicks into
place locking the joints (Fig. 3).
4.
Keeping the central safety handle up-
wards as much as possible, open the
sides, until it clicks into place (Fig. 4).
WARNING!
Keep the feet joined as much as
possible during the opening of the sides!
5.
Push the safety tab downwards and all
the way (Fig. 5).
WARNING!
Make sure it is in a horizontal
position!
Lay the bottom with the print facing
upwards.
6.
Then remove the self-locking straps
placed outside the mattress (A) and
insert them through the specific slots
located at the base of the bed (B) then
fasten them. Repeat the same step on-
both sides.
WARNING!
Periodically check that all
assembly accessories are securely
tightened!
CLOSING THE PLAyPEN
7.
Remove the play mat before closing the
playpen (Fig. 6).
8.
Grasp the safety handle and turn it in the
direction of the arrow (Fig. 7) and pull it
upwards (Fig. 8).
9.
Grasp the sides of the playpen and press
the button indicated on the fabric. Then
slightly lift the joints to disengage them
and then bend them downwards (Fig. 9).
10.
Repeat the procedure with the others.
11.
Now fully pull the safety handle upwards
to close the playpen (Fig. 10). Wrap the
playpen around the bottom, leaving the
rigid plastic part of the latter outside.
12.
Close again with the appropriate Velcro
straps after having passed them through
the buckles (Fig. 11).
13.
Put the playpen in the carry bag leaving
out the handle (Fig. 12).
WARNING!
When closing the playpen,
make sure that the folding joints are
folded correctly.
SAFETY
Before leaving your child in the playpen, make
sure again that the 4 folding joints and the
joint on the base unit are locked correctly.
An extra safety lock (located under the base
of the playpen) prevents any accidental clo-
sures. In other playpens such closure may
be caused by the presence of a child or an
animal that moving beneath it, might push
the base upwards.
WARNING!
The playpen is ready for use only
when the closure mechanisms of the folding
system are locked. Be careful not to leave
anything in the playpen that could entice the
child to climb out, or that can lead to its suf-
focation or strangulation. Keep the playpen
far from fire or other heat sources, such as
electric radiators and hotplates.
MAINTENANCE
Do not leave the product exposed to sunlight
or bad weather for a long time to avoid fabrics
and materials changing colour. Clean the
lining with a sponge and a mild soap.
WARNING!
The playpen lining is not remov-
able! Clean plastic parts and metal ones with
a damp cloth; then dry thoroughly.
Carry bag: hand-wash with cold water and
mild detergent for delicate items, leave it
to drip dry.

children from 0 months to approx. 4 years

observe any damaged, worn or missing
components. Periodically check the solid-
ity of the folding and opening mechanism
and the conditions of the handrail.

All opening and closing operations of the
product must be carried out exclusively
by an adult.
•
Do not apply accessories, spare parts or
components not supplied or approved by
the manufacturer to the playpen.
•
Do not close the playpen with the child
inside.
•
When the child is inside the playpen, the
zipper must be completely closed with
the slider in lower position.
•
Do not move the product with the child
inside.
•
Do not place more than one child at a
time inside the playpen.
•
Do not let other children play unattended
near the playpen or climb it.
•
The playpen should be used only on sta-
ble, flat surfaces.
•
Do not position the playpen near walls and
obstacles, to prevent trapping hazards.
•
The playpen must be kept away from
electric cables and cords: do not place
the playpen near windows where cords,
curtains or similar objects could pose
chocking or strangling hazards for the
child.
To avoid strangling hazards, do not give
to your child or place near it, objects
equipped with cords.
•
A prolonged exposure to the sun may
cause changes of tones to the product’s
colour. After a prolonged exposure of the
product to high temperatures, wait a few
minutes prior to placing your child in it.
•
When the playpen is not in use, store it
out of the reach of children.
•
Periodically check the solidity of the fold-
ing and opening mechanism and the
conditions of the handrail.
•
Do not sit on the handrail of the playpen.
•
Ensure that the playpen is correctly as-
sembled.
