Tips:
• This stirrer works best with soup recipes when liquids cover the stirring
blades (if making a small batch of soup, use a smaller pan).
• When using this stirrer with very thick or very chunky recipes, check often
to ensure the food is not clogging the stirring blades (which would result in
scorching the food at the bottom of the pot). If this happens, stop the
stirrer and use a rubber spatula to scrape food free.
• Sticky or cheesy recipes will work best in a pot with nonstick coating.
WARNING: When cooking with gas, ensure the burner flame is not
creeping up the sides of the pot, as this could damage the
expanding arms and clips!
WARNING: During cooking, heat from the stovetop and the pot will
radiate to the expanding arms and clips. Use caution
when removing the motor housing and stirring assembly
from a hot pot!
8. Using oven mitts, carefully hold the expanding arms with one hand while
twisting the motor housing clockwise. Lift the housing up and off the
stirring rod and set it aside.
9. Again using oven mitts, squeeze the clips to loosen the arms. Lift the
arms up off the pot and stirring rod and set aside. Grasp the stirring rod
and lift it out of the pot with the stirring blades.
