OPERATION
Operating instructions
GIMA baby measure rule shows a millimetre scale on both sides. The scale beginning from fixed
index is used to measure the length of babies lying down, whereas the scale beginning from the rule
end is used to measure little children able to hold themselves upright.
GIMA baby measure is easy to use: to measure the length of a baby it is sufficient to keep the rule
parallel with the baby and make the moving jaw slide until it is possible to position the two jaws of the
measure between the feet and the head and read the value indicated in connection with the moving jaw.
To measure a child in upright position, keep the rule upright, lay the base of the fixed jaw on the
ground, adjust the height of the moving jaw until it reaches the baby’s head and read the indicated
value.
