Migrate Files and Settings
Use EasyMover
to migrate system files, application files, and
settings between computers with the same operating system
version or from an old version to a new version.
Notes:
•
Make sure the languages are the same on both computers.
• If you choose to migrate Outlook
®
, the Outlook mail data
on the receiving computer will be overwritten.
1.
Close all other applications on both computers.
2.
Select
Synchronize (Z)
EasyMover
Setup
on the
remote (source) computer. Check
Allow Remote Execute
,
and then click
OK
.
3.
Select
Synichronize (Z)
EasyMover
Start
on the host
(receiving) computer. Then click
(Next).
4.
Select the application or system items you want to
migrate, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete
migration.
5.
When finished, click
(Finish) and then
Yes
to restart your
computer for changes to take effect.
