Security
This page displays the authentication key of the switch, and the RRCP Management
Security Mask Configuration. The authentication key is readable in this version. You
can press the ‘Refresh’ button to read the register, and press the ‘Update’ button to
set the registers, and it will set the register to your selection.
Authentication Key and management port setting
Types of Operation commands include:
Manager operation: (1) register Get (2) register Set (3) Hello
Switch operation: (1) register Get Reply (2) Hello Reply
The Hello Reply frame will report the switch’s link vector information back to the
manager:
{(Downlink MAC, Downlink Port), (Uplink MAC, Uplink Port)}. Collect all the link
vector information could draw out the network topology diagram.
Management security scheme
Two RRCP security scheme of EE2400-SS are implemented: (1) RRCP management
authorized port control (2) Protocol Authentication Key control.
(1) RRCP management authorized port control: The authorized port can be configured
via register 0x0201~0x0202. Only the authorized port received RRCP frame commands
will be process and response. Other RRCP with DA=switch’s MAC address will be drop.
Protocol Authentication Key control: Every RRCP control frame need with a correct
Authentication Key that defined in the register 0x0209. After power on, the Authentication
Key is reset as the default value (0x2379). It can be update through a valid RRCP Set
command or through Serial CPU interface.
