Reading Barcode Techniques
The barcode scanner has an aiming dot (red dot). The aiming dot should be centered over the barcode, but
it can be positioned in any direction for a good read.
Below shows the aiming dot:
The aiming dot is smaller when the barcode scanner is closer to the barcode and larger when it is farther
from the barcode. Scan with smaller bars or elements (mil size) should be closer to the scanner, and those
with larger bars or elements (mil size) farther from the scanner.
The
beeps and vibrates to indicate that it succeeds to read a barcode. For more information about
