Read EPC Menu

 

Desktop Mode for Reading RFID Tag

 

AUR720

 can work as desktop reader for hand-free use.

 

To do this, please press and hold the two buttons: 

Back

 and 

Power/Next

 for one second to switch 

Handheld Mode

 and 

Desktop Mode

. 

 

 

When 

AUR720

 stay in 

Desktop Mode

, it will:

 

 

Disable the 

Action button

. This can prevent from unexpectedly pressing the 

Action button

 

when 

putting the reader in face-down direction on the table.

 

 

Disable the 

Screen Auto-Off

 function. This will let 

AUR720

 keep working under 

wake

 mode. So it 

recommends to connect reader to computer to operate with 

Desktop Mode

.

 

The 

Desktop Mode

 is suitable for you to put reader in face-down direction on the table and then use 

AUR720B Utility

 to access tag, such as inventory tag

 and 

view the tag memories

.
