4.7 Reset function (learning cycle of capacity display)
In rare cases it can occur that a discharged luminaire will be indicated „fully charged“ after less than 1 hour
charging in the charging station or in the opposite case it can occur that a fully charged luminaire will be
indicated “emty“ within 1 hour from use. Reason for this can be a faulty learned-in capacity value.
Before sending such a luminaire to GIFAS for repair or replacment of Li-Ion battery pack please carry out a
capacity „reset“ (learning cycle):
Turn on FlashLED and wait until the LED’s are completely turned off (battery emty). Depending on
capacity of battery this can take u to 3 days.
Leave the luminaire for at least 30 mins. without manipulation
Place FlashLED in the charger and wait until the charing is completeted. The luminaire shall stay in
the charger for at least 12 hours.
After finishing above mentioned steps the reset is done.
