Condensate level approx. 10 mm below the filter element (_marking8).
Filter/water separator empties automatically (manual emptying:
Turn the drainage screw 9 in an anticlockwise direction as seen from below).
The condensate will then flow out.
Barbed fitting connection for tubing PCN-4-NT already fitted.
Replace the filter cartridge if it shows signs of the following:: Low flow despite
unmodified pressure setting.
1- Exhaust the unit.
2.Carry out the following steps (_Fig. 3):
– Push the unlocking slide5in the direct. of the arrow.
– Turn the filter bowl in an anti-clockwise direction (as seen from below).
– Pull the filter bowl away from the unit.
3.Turn the filter plate6(in the case of MS4/6-LFM/LFX the complete filter cartridge) in
an anti-clockwise direction.
4.Replace the filter cartridge if the pores are dirty (_Fig. 5). Grasp the filter cartridge
only at the lower end when it is new. A support span is fitted in the new 5
μ
m filter
cartridge.
5. Fit the individual parts again in the reverse sequence.
The following checks must then be made:
– the locking pin7of the filter bowl must face the large recess in the housing.
– the unlocking slide must be heard to clip into place when the end stop is
reached (_Fig. 8).
