Signet 9950 Conductivity Transmiter
Sensor Wiring
Optional Current Loop Module Wiring
Compatible with all GF Signet Conductivity Electrodes. Maximum Conductivity cable length is 30 meters (100 feet).
For longer distances use the 3-2850 Conductivity Sensor Electronics. Up to two modules can be installed in a 9950
Transmitter.
• Consult sensor manuals for additional wiring information.
• Do not route sensor cables in conduit containing AC power wiring.
Electrical noise may interfere with sensor signal.
• Routing cables in grounded metal conduit will help prevent electrical noise and mechanical damage.
• Seal cable entry points to prevent moisture damage.
• In case of noise interference, ground the sensor SHIELD wire to a local earth ground at a point near the sensor.

The Dual Channel 4 to 20 mA
Current Loop Output Module
option is available for single-
channel systems only.
Optional Dual Channel 4 to 20 mA Current Loop Output Module
External DC Power is
required for the current
loops.
Technical Notes:
• Sensor dependent, see sensor
manual for maximum cable length.
• Maintain cable shield through
cable splice.
• Route sensor cable away from
AC power lines.
• Connect the silver (shield) wire to
earth ground in case of EMI noise
interference.
