Adjust the volume-controlled untreated water addition
(DN 40 - DN 50) applying a square socket spanner (
6 mm)
at the side of the JRG bypass mixing valve. Turn the spanner
anti-clockwise to increase the amount of the added untreated
water. Turn the spanner clockwise to decrease the amount
of the added untreated water. If you turn the spanner fully
clockwise, the volume-controlled untreated water addition is
discontinued. Use an open-end wrench (
17 mm) to lock the
chosen setting.
Adjusting the volume-controlled untreated water
addition is the sole responsibility of the skilled
person operating the valve.
Please observe the local requirements and
recommendations.
DN 40 / DN 50
Measure the untreated water addition at a tapping point after and near the JRG bypass
mixing valve to check the selected setting and adjust it if desired.
The hardness degree of the untreated water may vary during operation depending on the
water supplied by the local utility company. A resulting deviation in water hardness after the
water treatment unit cannot be compensated by the JRG bypass mixing valve.
