6.3 Poor radial cut
Possible cause
Solution
The circular blade is worn (blunt
rotary cutter).
Change the circular blade.
The rotary cutter has detached in
the knife holder.
Fix circular blade on the blade holder and fix
with the appropriate screws.
6.4 Foam at end face is not evenly separated
Possible cause
Solution
The radial cut with the circular
blade which has been executed is
not deep enough. Withdrawing it
“too early” can lead to uneven
front surface of the foam.
Perform radial cut until the foam is visibly
separated. Cut resdidual uneven foam with a
knife.
6.6 No or incomplete peeling of the pipe
Possible cause
Solution
The blade is not fixed.
Fix the blade.
Allowed tightening torque:
d32, d40 = 4 Nm
d50, d63 = 8 Nm
The blade is blunt or bent.
Change the blade.
Allowed tightening torque:
d32, d40 = 4 Nm
d50, d63 = 8 Nm
The centering head is loose.
Fix screw at the centering head with max 15 Nm
with hexagon socket allen key.
Inner pipe diameter is not circular.
Cut pipe, check the pipe again, and perform
peeling process again.
