Rubber cord

Length of the relaxed rubber cord

Place the rubber cord (1) around the cord deflection (4) and fit the cord deflection in the runner rail.

Fit the inner roller carriage (6) in such a way that both ends of the rubber cord run past it.

Make sure that the rubber cords do not twist.

 

X

Fit the outer roller carriage (2) in such a way only the rear rubber cord runs past it.

The front rubber cord hangs out between the two roller carriages of a leaf.

Install running rail buffer (5).

 

X

Knot the rubber cord at the cord fixture (7) and install the cord fixture (7) in the running rail.

Make sure enough rubber cord is left protruding.

 

X

Knot the rubber cord tightly on the cord attachment bracket of the cord fixture (7) and trim as close to the 

knot as possible.

Install leaf.

Make sure that the rubber cord which is protruding between the roller carriages hangs down in front of the 

leaf.

Insert the cord fixture (3) in the running rail and screw tightly to the plate provided on the leaf.

 

X

Pre-tension the rubber cord on the cord attachment and knot it.

The rubber cord has been pre-tensioned correctly when the relaxed protruding part (length L) is in accordance 

with the following lengths:

for light doors (< ca. 60 kg): Opening width ÖW / 2 

 

à

for heavy doors: 0.7 × opening width ÖW

When mounting the leaves, check again that the cord is routed as illustrated above.
