Installation

4.1 Lock for 1-leaf and 2-leaf doors (door/active leaf)

X

All installation work must be carried out by a specialist.

à

Electrical installation by a qualified electrician

à

Mechanical installation e.g. by the door manufacturer, metalworker or carpenter

X

Make sure that the door cannot close or be closed during installation, since the door can only be opened from

the outside by key during the construction phase. Holding the door open with the crossbar extended is not

permissible!

à

During work on the door leaf e.g. drilling and milling, the lock must be removed from the door leaf.

à

The recess in the lock pocket must be carried out in compliance with the dimensional drawing below.

à

The pocket must be dimensioned in such a way that the lock can be inserted easily and screwed to the door

leaf without tension in the bracket.
