Chapter 3 Accessing the GV-Video Server
Two types of users are allowed to log in the GV-Video Server: Administrator and Guest.
The Administrator user is allowed to have a full access to all system configurations, while
the Guest user has the limited right to access live images only.
3.1 Accessing Your Surveillance Images
After the network configurations are complete, both Administrator and Guest users are
now ready to access the live images. In addition to managing live images, both types of
users can control the cameras and I/O devices as well.
3.2 Functions Featured on the Main Page
When both Administrator and Guest users log in, the functions in two categories are
available for use:
Live View
of Video and Motion and
Status
of Network.
