Congratulations on your purchase of the CW F500 heart rate moni-
tor.
Whether you work out on a regular basis or you just want to stay
in shape, the CW F500 heart rate monitor is made for you.

Thanks to the automatic target zone featuring an out-of-zone

alarm, the simultaneous display of the heart rate and of the

stopwatch, the display of the intensity of exertion in % and

calories expended, the CW F500 will enable you to manage

your training or fitness sessions with precision, so you will

reach your objectives.

This product features an exclusive principle of dynamic heart

rate measurement. This mechanism adapts to the intensity of

exertion to offer an optimal compromise between the stability and
the reactivity of the measurement. This product is also designed
to provide a comfortable fit for all body types and to be easy to use
during workouts.

Please read the owner's manual carefully before use. Keep the
owner's manual for the entire service life of the product.

NORMAL CONDITIONS OF USE

This CW F500 heart rate monitor consists of a watch and a chest belt.
• The watch is designed to be worn on the wrist or on its bike mount during multi-
sport physical activities, carried out in a temperate climate. It is used for displaying
the various data and for controlling the functions with the buttons.
The chest belt must be positioned on the thorax. If correctly placed, it transmits
information on the heart rate to the watch. Located in the reception cone (see dia-
gram), the watch then displays the heart rate and offers different items of supple-
mentary information (target zone, intensity of exercise etc.) to guide and optimize
your fitness or training programs.
The chest belt does not incorporate coded transmission technology. Interference
may occur if you are too close to other heart rate monitor users (about 1 meter).
