II. SAFETY
IMPORTANT NOTICE
–READ BEFORE OPERATING YOUR GEO
CRUISER
1. The Geo Cruiser should be adjusted to fit your needs and/or disability
2. Make sure to always fasten yourself to the Geo Cruiser using the provided seat belt.
3. Every power chair is different. Take the time to learn the feel of the Geo Cruiser before
you begin riding.
4. Be aware that you must take into consideration your own needs and/or your disability so
that you can further develop additional methods for the safe use and operation of this
Geo Cruiser power chair.
5. Have someone help you practice bending, reaching and transferring to the Geo Cruiser
until you learn how to do these things safely.
6. Never try a new maneuver on your own unless you are sure it is safe.
7. Get to know the areas where you plan to use your Geo Cruiser. Look for hazards and
learn how to avoid them.
8. Do not allow additional riders on the Geo Cruiser, armrests or chassis. Doing so may
result in personal injury to you or others, as well as damage to the Geo Cruiser.
NOTICE TO FAMILY, FRIENDS AND /OR ATTENDANTS
Make sure that you pay careful attention to all warnings and follow all instructions in each
section of this manual. (Be aware that warnings that apply to the rider also apply to you).
Important information
To manually transport the Geo Cruiser, first fold the Geo Cruiser. You can then
transport the Geo Cruiser like luggage using the two anti-tip wheels in the back of
the chassis.
NOTE

It is important that you pay close attention to all warnings in this section. If you
fail to do so, you may fall, tip-over or lose control resulting in severe injury to you or
others.
