Preload
is
the
measurement of how much a fork or shock spring is mechanically compressed.
Preload
adjustment allows you to change how the
bicycle
reacts to weight that’s applied
via loading or through surface irregularities
.
Increasing preload will increase the amount of force required to compress the spring making the suspension firmer.
Decreasing preload will decrease the amount of force required to compress the spring making the suspension less firm.

he fork preload adjuster is located on the top of the left fork tube.
T
o Increase Fork Preload, turn the preload adjuster clockwise
.
To Decrease Fork Preload, turn the preload adjuster counter-clockwise.
There are 10 fork preload settings. Each setting is 1/2 turn.
There will be a noticeable "Click" for each preload setting selected.

A C-spanner wrench
(not included) is required to safely change the shock preload setting.

o Increase

Preload, turn the preload adjuster clockwise
into the next notch

To Decrease
Shock
Preload, turn the preload adjuster counter-clockwise
into the next notch
.
There
are

shock
preload settings.
It is recommended to set both shocks at the same preload setting.
