Installation guidelines
Please see figure 1 - figure 11.
Figure 1, 2 & 3 - installing a strainer:
- Always pay attention to direction of flow.
- While showerheads are available in white or chrome, strainers are only available in white.
- Please note that a strainer is not mandatory, but highly recommended for maximum lifetime of ceramic
filter elements.
- Figures shown are
examples of different applications.

When a decrease in water flow is noticeable, the filter element is saturated and needs to be replaced.
Figure 5, 6 & 7 - installing a in-line filter element:
- Always pay attention to direction of flow.
- Always make sure that main water supply is closed before (re)placing filter element(s).
- In-line filters are available in white of chrome.
- Place in-line filter according to figure 5&6 in cold water supply only or both in cold and warm water
supply as desired (2 in-line filters required).
- When a decrease in water flow is noticeable, the filter element is saturated and needs to be replaced.
Figure 8 - installing a showerhead assembly:
- Showerhead assembly, available in white or chrome.
- When a decrease in water flow is noticeable, the filter element is saturated and needs to be replaced.
- When used conjunction with a strainer, always replace the strainer when replacing the filter element.
Figure 9, 10 & 11 - installing a in-line filter with strainer
- Always pay attention to direction of flow.
- Always make sure that main water supply is closed before (re)placing filter element(s) or strainer.
- In-line filters are available in white of chrome; strainer only available in white.
- When a decrease in water flow is noticeable, the filter element is saturated and needs to be replaced.
- Always replace the strainer when replacing the filter element.
- Please note that total length of assembly is ca. 35 cm (14 inches).
- Place in-line filter according to figure 11 in cold water supply only or both in cold and warm water
supply as desired (2 in-line filters and 2 strainers required).
