Initializing of the
Genio PRO S
26
Occasionally you may want to initialize the key sensor in you
Genio PRO S
for accurate
response when in silent mode. A good time to do this when it is new and after the acoustic
parts(hammers and strings) have been tuned. Use the following procedure to initialize the
sensors.
Before getting start
1) The keyboard cable and AC power adaptor should be plugged into the
Genio PRO S
control unit
and the power should be OFF.
2) The mute lever should be in the Mute position.
3) Make sure that noting is sitting on the keyboard that might press a key down.
How to initialize the
Genio PRO S
1) While holding the
[Metronome]
button down, turn the
Genio PRO S
on.
After 3 seconds, release the
[Metronome]
button.
In few seconds, the display should be as below.
2) Press each of the 88keys, one at a time, all the way down with medium force and speed(not too fast).
After you have finished pressing all of the keys, press the
[Metronome]
button again to finish the
initialization.
3) It will take a few seconds for the data to be stored in permanent memory.
When the data is successfully stored, the display will change as shown and the piano is ready to
play again.
