Test Limited Drive Speed

Press down the foot switch.

Raise the boom to just above horizontal.

Slowly move the control handle to full drive
position.
Result: The maximum achievable drive
speed with the boom raised should not
exceed 1 ft / 30 cm per second.

Lower the boom to the stowed position.

Extend the boom 18 inches / 46 cm.

Slowly move the control handle to full drive
position.
Result: The maximum achievable drive
speed with the boom extended should
not exceed 1 ft / 30 cm per second.
If the drive speed with the boom raised or
extended exceeds 1 ft / 30 cm per second,
immediately tag and remove the machine from
service.
Test Emergency Controls

Shut off the engine.

Pull out the red Emergency Stop button to the
on position.

Press down the foot switch.

Simultaneously hold the emergency power
switch on and activate each function control
handle or toggle switch.
Note: To conserve battery power, test each
function through a partial cycle.
Result: All boom and steer functions should
operate. Drive functions should not operate
with emergency power.
