Test the Powered Extension Deck
Extend/Retract Functions (if equipped)
30 Press the powered extension deck function
button.
31 Wait seven seconds for the powered extension
deck function to time out.
32 Slowly move the control handle in the direction
indicated by the blue arrow, then in the
direction indicated by the yellow arrow.
Result: The platform extension deck function
should not operate.
33 Press the powered extension deck function
button.
34 Press and hold the function enable switch on
the control handle. Slowly move the control
handle in the direction indicated by the blue
arrow.
Result: The powered extension deck should
extend. If equipped, the motion alarm should
sound during extension deck movement.
35 Release the control handle.
Result: The powered extension deck should
stop.
36 Press the lift function button.
37 Slowly move the control handle in the direction
indicated by the blue arrow, then in the
direction indicated by the yellow arrow.
Result: The lift function should not operate.
38 Press the powered extension deck function
button.
39 Press and hold the function enable switch on
the control handle. Slowly move the control
handle in the direction indicated by the yellow
arrow.
Result: The powered extension deck should
retract. If equipped, the motion alarm should
sound during extension deck movement.
Test the Steering
Note: When performing the steer and drive
function tests, stand in the platform facing the steer
end of the machine.
40 Press the drive function button
(if equipped).
41 Press and hold the function enable switch on
the control handle.
42 Press the thumb rocker switch on top of the
control handle in the direction indicated by the
blue triangle on the control panel.
Result: The steer wheels should turn in the
direction indicated by the blue triangle.
43 Press the thumb rocker switch on top of the
control handle in the direction indicated by the
yellow triangle, on the control panel.
Result: The steer wheels should turn in the
direction indicated by the yellow triangle.
