5.5 Using foot valve (not included).
The time required to complete the aspiration and the pump starts expelling water
depends on the depth at which it aspires. If it aspires water at the pump level, the
pump will pump water immediately. But if we are at 4 or 5m aspiration time will be
much longer reaching 2 minutes or more depending on the model. Remember that
the pump body must be filled with water at all times!
When aspirated into deep (a meter or more) we recommend the use of a foot valve.
This remains installed at the tip of the aspiration hose replacing the aspiration filter.
The foot valve only allows circulating water in an upward direction, not allowing the
water back.
Advantages:

After using the motor pump its body and the hose will remain filled with water
because the foot valve will not allow the water back.
