9. In the Alarm Threshold Configuration screen BPV, CRC, and LAD alarms can be set to Report
All (alarm is sent every time the event occurs) or to be sent dependent on Window and
Threshold settings. The Threshold is the number of events required to generate the alarm, and
the Window is the time span in which the threshold value must be reached. Set Windows and
Thresholds as needed, then type 0 and press the Enter key to return to the Alarm Configuration
Menu screen.
10. To save the new configuration and put it into effect in the DSU, type selection S,
Save &
Update Unit
and press the Enter key.
If you decide not to put your changes into effect, go to step 11 without selecting
Save & Update
Unit
.
11. To dismiss the Alarm Configuration menu screen, type selection 0,
Return to Main
Menu,
and press the Enter key.
