Processing the powder directly from the original
powder manufacturer's container
The equipment allows for powder to be processed directly out of the
original powder manufacturer's container. The vibration plate supports the
powder conveying. The fluidizing/suction unit partially fluidizes the powder
at the suction point.
Fluidizing the coating powder
The fluidization of the coating powder with fluidizing air improves the
conveying characteristics of the powder. For this purpose, the fluidizing
air is fed into the external tube of the fluidizing/suction unit and exits at the
lower end of the tube. Thereby, the area around the suction tube is
partially fluidized, the powder obtains fluid-like characteristics and will be
sucked into the tube.
The vibration of the vibrating plate causes an even powder level, this
prevents the suction of false air through air craters. That way, the powder
can be used almost entirely (optimum powder utilization).
Powder flow detection
The powder transport is monitored by the powder flow detection during
the conveying procedure. If during a powder requirement by the level
sensor no or too little powder flows through the conveying line within a
defined time, this will be recognized by the installed sensor. This powder
shortage actuates an up/down procedure of the powder container (Big
Bag). This procedure is automatically interrupted when the
Powder
shortage signal is reset, and otherwise constantly repeated during an
adjustable time. If the powder shortage will not be reset by the up/down
procedure during a defined time, an alarm message for the operating
personnel will be released.
