Reducer and impact system
Lubrication:
Oil-bath lubrication is used, offering a number of advantages:
-
better lubrication than with grease, which may be ejected from the working surfaces of the mechanism.
-
good heat dissipation and attenuation of the noise generated by the impact mechanism.
Filling and draining via the plug
会
.
Only use synthetic gear oil such as Polyalkylene glycol meeting the ISO 6743/0 (1981) Category C specification.
Examples:
WARNING
– These oils are
not mixable or compatible with
mineral
oils
and
certain
synthetic oils.
Check the oil every day by means of the indicator
解
. When the machine is vertical, the oil should reach the middle of the indicator (approximate capacity
0.7 litres).
Change the oil every 40 hours of operation approximately. For a new machine, change after 10 hours.
When draining the oil, clean the magnetic plug
会
, which retains metal particles present in the oil. A slight presence of particles is normal. If, however, the
plug has a heavy load of particles, it is highly desirable to dismantle and inspect the mechanism.
Clean the magnetic plug every week in order to remove the metal particles which accumulate while the machine is operating.
