Operation

Allow the washing machine at least 45 minutes between uses for the motor to cool down
sufficiently. Failure to do so may cause the thermal overload protection to trip.

Washing

1.  Place the washing machine on a level surface near a drainage point.

2.  Hook the top of the outlet hose to the top right-hand side of the machine

– this

is the non-drain position.

3.  Open the top cover and turn the spin basket clockwise to release it from the

agitator. Remove the basket and its cover.

4.  Place the clothing into the machine. Distribute clothing evenly around the tub to

prevent imbalance.

5.  Connect one end of the water inlet hose to a suitable water source

– the end of

the hose can be connected to a garden hose connector, and the other end to
the water inlet connection. Turn on the water supply and fill the tub until the
clothes are fully immersed. Ensure that the water temperature does not exceed
40°C for non-wool fabrics, and does not exceed 30°C for woollens. You can
also fill the tub directly using a bucket etc.

6.  Add sufficient detergent for the size of the wash. Do not use any more than

necessary. Close the top cover.

7.  Rotate (to the right/clockwise)  the

Wash/Spin Timer

 to the desired time setting.

8.  Connect the appliance to a suitable electrical supply.

9.  Place the

Program Selector

 in the

Wash

 position to start the machine.

10.  When the wash has finished, unhook the outlet hose and lower it to ground

level

– this is the drain position. Drain the water into a suitable container.

Rinsing

1.  Hook the top of the outlet hose tube to the top right-hand side of the machine.

2.  Re-fill the tub with clean water to the same level.

3.  Rotate (to the right/clockwise) the

Wash/Spin Timer

 to the desired time setting.

4.  Place the

Program Selector

 in the

Wash

 position to start the machine.

5.  When the cycle has finished, drain the water.

Repeat the above processes, if necessary.

Spin-Drying

Note

: The spin basket has a smaller capacity (maximum = 2kg) than the wash tub, so the entire wash may

have to be spun in several stages.

1.  Place wet clothes into the spin-dry basket.

2.  Place the basket cover on top of the clothes and press it down so it clips under the top edges of the

basket.

3.

Place the spin-dry basket in the tub, on the agitator, and rotate it left so it clips into the agitator.

4.  Rotate (to the right/clockwise) the

Wash/Spin Timer

 to the desired time setting.

5.  Place the

Program Selector

 in the

Spin

 position to start the machine.
