Structure and function
The Geberit pressing tool MFP 2 consists of:
• pressing tool with operating instructions
• pressing jaws with compatibility mark or adapter jaws and pressing collars with compatibility
marks
• carry case
The equipment may vary depending on the scope of delivery.

Handle
Turning the handle opens or closes the hydraulic valve.

Pump lever
Pressing is performed by actuating the pump lever altern-
ately upwards and downwards.

Swivelling pressing
head
Can be rotated 180°. This can only be rotated before press-
ing.

Pressing attachment
• The pressing jaw or pressing collar with adapter jaw
corresponds to the diameter of the pressfitting.
• Only pressing attachments with the compatibility symbol
are compatible with the pressing tool.
• Pressing attachment with warning note sticker

Roller area
Transfers the press capacity from the pressing cylinder to
the pressing attachment.

Retaining pin
Holds the pressing attachment in place
