Moving longer distances
When planning to move the system through long
corridors and elevators, ensure of the following:
To move longer distances:
1. Close the LCD screen. This switches the system
to “Standby” and protects the hard-disk from
excessive vibrations that might cause damage
while disk is in operation. This will also protect
the LCD shaft from excessive vibrations.
2. Complete the previous procedure: "Moving short
distances" on page 23.
3. Push the system by using the special handle on
the rear of the cart. This will ensure balance and
proper maneuvering.
Note : While cart is being moved pay special
attention to the following:
1.
The protruding ECG connector. Avoid bumping
the connector into doors or beds.
2. The protruding power cord connector on the
bottom rear of the cart. Avoid pushing the rear of
the cart into a wall.
Note : The cart's latest version contains a protective
support for the ECG connector and a wall-protection
bumper to protect the AC cable, as shown in the
following Figure 4-1 and Figure 4-2. These
protective devices can be installed on carts that did
not have them on the original installation.
