Passwords
Passwords are provided to limit access to the WebServer and the SymNav software. We recommend that you
change the default passwords (
) after you complete the installation. As a security measure, store the
passwords in the administrator's secured files or in a limited access area.
Default IP addresses
The SymNet1 comes with the following preset IP addresses:

IP address of
192.168.1.12
•
Subnet mask of
255.255.255.0
•
Gateway address of
192.168.1.1
Note:
These IP addresses should be changed before you connect to your IP network. Contact your network administrator to
obtain your network specific addresses.
