The PM880 displays a default name for the file. If you want to keep the
default name, skip to step 4. Otherwise, use
[F1]
to erase the name and
use the arrow keys to scroll to the desired letter or number and press
[ENTER]
.

Repeat this procedure until you have created the desired site name of up
to eight characters.

When you have finished, press
[F3]
(
OK
).

The PM880 prompts you to save the site file as a template. This is useful
if you need to create multiple sites with similar data. At the prompt, do
one of the following:
•
Press
[F2]
(
No
) if you do not need to use a template, or
•
Press
[F3]
(
Yes
) if you do want to use it as a template.
Note:
If you are saving a new file as a template, the PM880 will ask if you
want to
Save Current Site
, press
[F2]
(
No
) or
[F3]
(
Yes
).
6.
Press
[F3]
(
Exit
).
7.
Press
[MENU]
. The new site name is displayed in the upper left corner of
the screen. You have completed entering site data.
Next, do one of the following:

If you are done entering site data, proceed to the next chapter,
Taking
Measurements
.
•
If you need to enter information for another site, go back to
Entering
Setup Data
Note:
If you need to create multiple site files with similar data, you can
save time by creating one site file and then using
Save As
in the Site
Manager to create a copy of that site file with a different name.
