Disabling the Off Switch
You can disable powering off using the On/Off switch by changing the setting of SW1-1, located
on the underside of the IPC’s front panel. This prevents unplanned shutdowns caused by
accidentally pressing the On/Off switch.
The disabled setting affects only the ability to power down the unit. You can still use the On/Off
switch to power on the unit.
You will need the following:
One flat (or large Phillips) screwdriver
1.
Turn off or remove the power supplying the IPC.
2.
Loosen the four captive screws on the IPC’s front panel and remove the front panel.
3.
Move the SW1-1 switch from the default (Off) position to the On position.
4.
Replace the front panel on the IPC and hand-tighten the four captive screws to secure it.
