the dishwasher. The gasket and sump are located
under the tub in front of the motor pump assembly.
Sump Assembly Removal
1. Disconnect
power.
2. Open the dishwasher door and remove the
bottom rack.

The sump clamping nut turns

It may be helpful to insert a 3/4 in. wide x 4 1/2 in.
long piece of wood between the clamping nut tabs

break the factory seal.
6. Remove the sump clamping nut.
7. Remove the sump gasket (not shown) and sump.
8. Remove the dishwasher from its installation.
9. Lay the dishwasher on its back.
10. Disconnect the thermistor wire harness.
